About Us

Welcome to DELHI PRODUCTIVITY COUNCIL

Delhi Productivity Council (DPC) is an outcome driven organization promoting awareness & application of the science of Productivity through training, education and consultancy.

DPC was constituted in 1959. as a Society under a tripartite arrangement between National Productivity Council, and Govt. of NCT of Delhi with the principal objective of spreading awareness about Productivity and its benefits for achieving performance excellence at the organization and human resource level. Recognizing that early stage exposure to the concepts of productivity would bring quicker results, we set up the Institute of Management Science & Productivity Research as early as in 1978, re-named as DPC Institute of Management to impart management education & training with special emphasis on Productivity.

We team up with our clients to work out solutions towards accelerating productivity, enhancing competitiveness, increasing profits, augmenting safety and reliability and ensuring better quality. It provides reliable database for decision-making, improved systems and procedures, work culture as well as customer satisfaction both internal & external. The solutions can be all-encompassing or specific depending on the nature of the problem. The council also helps monitor, review and implement the identified strategies. Promotional and catalytic in nature, DPC’s services have bearings on economic growth and quality of life. The Council promotes a comprehensive view of productivity focused on improving triple bottom line – economic, environmental and social and adds value for all the stakeholders through generation & application of advanced knowledge for inclusive Growth.

DPC provides a judicious mix of training and research. The training programmes of the Council cater to the requirements of budding managers and professionals. Research remains the backbone of DPC’s spectrum of activities. It carries out various market surveys, commodity studies and policy research.
